Just ordered but waiting til next year

I just order my 2008 335i AW, NAvi, ZSP from pentagon Car Sales, but I will not get it until late May. Its all good I guess the demand is so damn high for the car the list is long. The wait begins.....

you might as well just drive up there for delivery!

Its ok I am not transferring until next year so it works out, if you have ever been in Italy they drive like shit. So I don't want to mess it up also the military will pay to ship my car, I drive a 91 gti and beat the hell out of it.

Well I found this weekend that I will be getting my car in March now instead of May, thats even better I wonder if a lot of people are getting their cars quicker.

I was able to get a week 37 production date on my order from August 4th, so reading this I consider myself lucky. The car has already been completed according to my CA, but BMWNA still lists it as being in the paint shop.

The BMW Regensburg plant (http://www.bmw-werk-regensburg.de/lo.../en/index.html) mentions they can pump out 1000 BMWs a day and it typically takes just a few days to get a single car completely finished through production from start to finish. They also work Sunday through Saturday with only a small gap in shifts between Saturday and Sunday.

The slow part is the transport...:mad:

Instead of mid-late October delivery, I might get my new ride late September/early October. BMW must have a crapload of orders for the 3 series -- I'm loving it!!!

Hmmm, maybe it's from being in Italy? I will have my car right around the 7 week mark from Pentagon. Hmmm....
