Different years may work in different ways, but with my GT, first you set the air pressure correctly in each tire, then you tell the computer to reset from one of the status menus. It won't respond until you've then driven a bit since they appear to have a motion sensor to turn them on, and the pickup may not see them until they've rotated a bit.

The TPMS sensors we sell are the BMW original sensors. Simply follow the procedure in your owners manual.
