Replacing Lower o/s Grill.

Taught a Pheasant the lesson of his life this morning at 60 but he managed to crack my drivers side lower grill in the process. I have purchased a new one but my question is can it be changed without the bumper being removed. It seems like an awful lot of hassle if it has to be removed.

I guess not many people have had this problem. I suggest you buy the new grille first. You may then be able to tell from the tabs, fixings etc the best method of removing the old one. Just a suggestion...

I've just bought some new lower grills for mine (SE) as it looks like some punk enjoyed kicking a little hole in my front drivers side.

I'm tempted to plastidip them black if I chose to fit my black kidney grills.. decisions decisions.

If I ever get around to it, I will let you know how easy/hard it is.

Take the front wheel off.
Remove the arch liner.
You can then access and release the old grill, and replace with the new one.

How do you remove and replace the centre lower grill on an MSport ?

with the SE front bumper, the side grills I amfraid is a bumper off job as they are held in by tabs - the centre grill can be taken out with bumper inplace but is a bit fiddly.

Ok thats good to know - I'll get a new grill and hopefully that will give me a clue as to how it can be done.
