Install DP fix to where?

I'm about to install my DP fix. I'm going into my ECU to uninstall my old jb4 and won't have new one for 1-2 weeks. Can I install the DP fix to the ECU sub connector and then install the new jb4 later on? Or is there some sort of benefit to waiting for the new jb4 and installing it to the jb4s sub connector?

It is probably much easier to install in the jb4 harness but can be added to the factory harness if necessary. Check out the install guide on BMS website.

Many people say the DP fix should not be left on all the time because it messes with trims or other things. I leave mine on all the time with my Jb4 and have not had any issues.

You can install it into the stock DME connectors. This way if you remove the JB4 and keep the DPs on the DPfix will still work.
