Hardwire Passport 8500/Garmin C340
Hey I have a question, I already have my Passport hardwired to the PDC/Homelink slot using the mini fuse tap thing. Its all fine and dandy and I love it. Now I have found a direct hardwire cable to wire my GPS and I am going to do it the same way using the mini fuse tap. Now my problem is that I dont know whether it is safe to tap another fuse slot in my car and even if it was safe, I dont know which slot to tap. So could someone tell me if it is safe to hardwire my GPS and what fuse slot should i use to hardwire the GPS -- i want to use one that turns on and of with the car

try to use one of the fuse slots that people have been using for the navandtv2go module. i think you can use slot 28. check the link for the DIY for the navandtv2go module that should help you out more.
