Sell run-flats to get new wheels? Go to 18" or 19"??

Just bought a 2010 e92 a couple weeks ago. It came with 17" stock run-flats.

I am looking to change the wheels. My question is: Is it possible to sell my run-flats? If so, to who? (Looking to use the money for the new wheels)

Would you guys recommend 18" or 19" wheels? Is there a performance difference, or is it purely cosmetic?

What time of roads are you driving on good or bad? I bought 19's 2 years ago and when i moved to a different town the roads were complete shit and in 1 pot hole that i couldnt avoid ruined all 4 tires bent then real bad, i just purchased some 18's with a lot more cushion so hopefully it doesnt happen again but just a heads up
