Seems about right for an xi. E40 and RBs will make for a damn strong combo, add to that the fact that Bren tuning uses a high reading Dynapack.

So what would this put down on a dyno jet?
The single turbo xi made only 519
There is no way this made over 490whp on a dyno jet

Bren Tuning also got 475 whp out of stock turbos on E85 blend, although it was RWD. IMO, dyno reads high. Never posts a same-day baseline on the stock tune.

You can't compare the numbers the Vishnu single xi made. Not only is it a different dyno, on different fuel and different conditions but the car is running a small turbo and undertuned(probably to keep the transfer case in one piece.)

Bren's dyno reads high, no doubt at all about that, but it's definitely not outside the realm of possibility to see +480whp on a dynojet for an Rb'd Xi.

On a low-reading Mustang, where xi's previously baselined around 220.

I've been considering having him tune my car so i've messaged a few of the xi guys. All of them have said that they baselined the same day at 260 and not to look at the numbers but the detla. He includes the baseline numbers in the description of almost every video and in some I believe he has a clip showing the baseline too. If I go there I will be doing a baseline in stock map, baseline JB4, then getting a tune for 93 and a 40% e85 mix. He said I can expect over 400 on 93 and mid 4's on E85 if I were to go that route. I also asked if any of them have been to a dynojet or a dragstrip of any sort and he said his stock xi was at ths trip and did 13.9@96. Tune only same night he said his xi did 12.3@113, and lastly he said they tuned a guys 6spd xi on e85 and he ran 11.9@119. I'm assuming this is the 6spd xi although I don't know for sure

Defintely notorious for high reading dyno's. That's why a baseline is always important. That is not to say his tuning is not good. But don't expect magical numbers from one tuner to the next. There is only so much boost you can run and so much ignition timing.

There are some Bren baseline numbers floating around on a 135 forum & they are much higher then any baselines I had seen before.

If that car has those awhp numbers along with xi grip, he should be running low 11s even with the extra weight and parasitic drag.

I'd be surprised to see XIs crack 480s with RBs

Every car leaves with a baseline, it takes 5 minutes.

^Why do those all say 335i, when the videos clearly say 335xi?

Bren is notorious for ridiculously high numbers.

I just want to see what a typical Bren tuned car traps in the 1/4 mile.

I don't how RB turbos are but my guess will be somewhere around the 16T or better. I know on a similar platform running twin 16T turbos on a 3.0L engine (3000VR4 AWD) and all necessary upgrade (fuel, ignition, intercooler) on a stock motor, people were making 400awhp easily.
So I do believe with FBO and RBs, an XI can make at least 400awhp.

Someday I will find out with at least a pair of 16Ts

Chances are we'll never see track results because the driver won't understand why his track times don't seem on par with this dyno experience, if he even goes to the strip, which he may not... lol

I don't think upgraded turbos are necessary for 400awhp.
