cutting portion of inner fender liner out

I need anybodys experience with cutting a portion of the inner rear fender out, can't see how this would hurt anything but thought I would ask. I have 285/25/20 with a 10MM spacer in the rear and I am rubbing a bit on the inner fender liner and want to cut it out. My fenders are already rolled so just the lining is in question here. I only rub on large bumps.

i believe rear camber can be adjusted. wouldnt that help?

If u live in area with water salt and grit I wouldn't. Imagine the rust under your fenders once the wax oil has been washed away with no protection

I may just take the liner out and put 3M tape on other side. It is hitting right on the edge by the fender lip.

do it in a way that once you change your wheel setup, you can put the liner back.
or maybe a 12mm spacer instead of 10.

I pulled the fender liner out and used a dremel tool with a cutting wheel, this worked great for me when I have my volks.

Exactly what I did lol! Also did a lot off cutting on rubbing points in the back/ quarter panel meeting area and also in the front clip/ fender meeting area.
