FS: Spec Stage 2+ clutch
This clutch was only used for 800 miles and was barely broken in. The reason that I am selling it is because I have the Vishnu single turbo setup on my car and I ended up having to buy the spec lightweight flywheel and and was also forced to buy another clutch because Spec uses two different disks for the 2+, this clutch is meant to be used with the stock dual mass flywheel. The clutch was perfect and the best feeling clutch that I have ever had and I'm bummed that I had to take it out. It engaged like the stock clutch and can hold all the power that you throw at it. |

I will call Spec tomorrow and find out. If the answer is yes then I want to keep it.....JK i'm not going to pull my tranny for a third time. I really do like this clutch much better than the one I have now with the lightweight flywheel.

I am pretty sure this is for the dual mass only. That is because it is unsprung hub. The steel flywheel is single mass and probably requires a sprung hub.
Is this the upgraded stage 2+? With the enhanced drivability and wear ( i recently noticed it on their site as an option for the stage 2+ as an upgrade)? Or just the standard stage 2+? Also note that who ever buys this.. it is a self adjusting pressure plate and it will need to be reset or relocked before it can be remounted to a flywheel. Otherwise it wont work. |

I just got off the phone with Spec and they told me that this clutch can be used with the steel single mass flywheel and it will just have a more crisp engagement since it is not sprung. They also said there is no reason to have to adjust or re-clock the pressure plate. You can see the self adjusting springs in my picture and they are exactly how they would be if you bought a brand new one.
Anyone who is interested should also call SPEC so that you aren't just taking my word for it. SPEC Tech: 205-491-8581 |

I have always only known self adjusting pressure plates to have to be reset and relocked, once used, before mounting to another flywheel. |
