Speed limit coding help

Hi guys

Is it possible to code e92 speed limit warning light to come on 140km not 120???

... didnt even know there was one!

At least our US spec cars do not have one, so I believe the fact that you do have one would be coding controlled, so you should be able to uncode the light completely or change the speed

Mine has one controlled through IDrive. Don't know the max though. Just turned it off.

Just did this to my car today and felt like I invented slice bread! Lol I am not sure of the speed change tho but I will try changing speed and see what happens.

If you have normal standard radio, then you can code the speed limit in KMBI.TRC.
By default its 120KM, unless you know a way to change it.

If you have idrive (CIC), then you can add any custome speed limit or just disable it.

Since the keyword here takes the literal speed as variable, would it be to just put whatever desired speed in? say 100KM?

I was able to change mine through the Idrive, don't remember what it was set at but I was able to raise it to 200kph, it's pretty deep in the menu's but it is there.
