SS Turbo Tuner installed!!
Took about 15 mins, my biggest issue was getting the light on the flash light on the connector to see what I was doing. Luckily, my arms are not huge, and I was able to have enough room to do this without too much trouble.
Impressions: Very nice gains, not earth shattering like I am sure PROcede is, but still very nice gains, especially in the TQ department. Drives like stock, no increase in turbo lag, no codes. D mode is easier to use now, as before I always used DS mode to have power on tap. With TT there is power on tap even in D mode. Also it is 88 degrees outside right now & using shitty California 91 octane gas, so when it is cooler I am sure it will be even faster. There is still a drop off above 6K RPM, but not quite as noticable. Some day I might go with PROcede just to have full power up to redline, I miss that about my Corvette. Conclusion: definately worth $600, and the added bonus of easy un-install for dealer trips. Thanks to Jeff @ Eurobahn for the speedy order process and delivery, especially since he was on the road and out of town when I called.

Update: After driving around today, the Turbo Tuner is awesome.
Even with it being 97 degrees out and with the A/C on, this thing still pulls like a freight train. I am very impressed. The HP & TQ increase is perfect. Still very balanced and with stock drivability and no added turbo lag. I can't wait until next week, when the KVW2 and H&R sway bars go on. I think I will have the perfect family/sport sedan.

Ya it works well. Only thing I notice is occasionally it seems like it stops working and I go back to about stock power levels (according to my butt-dyno). I'm thinking sometimes SSTT hits knock retard and pulls power.

From what I understand, Brisk sounds right. There is a soft safety heat thingy that will lower boost if underhood temps get too high.
I am amazed by this thing, TQ everywhere while maintaining stock feel. GOOD JOB Split Second!!!

You know what amazes me, is the amount of HP and TQ you get for $600. Think about it, 40HP and 50 TQ at the wheels, that has to be what about 50HP and 60TQ at the crank?
I mean in a N/A car, you know how much money you would need to spend to get that amount of HP & TQ and that is even if you could get that much. Plus the added bonus of BMW providing 2 small turbos instead of 1 big one and the lack of turbo lag, is just icing on the cake. I love this car!!!

+1 for heatcompensation. I notice the same thing after running hard for extended periods on extremely hot days on occasion. but not extreme power loss (limp mode) or cel at least....

I have been very happy with mine - I can only begin to wonder what type of power the PROcede offers! For now, this is a fun addition to the ride.
When v2.0 of the PROcede comes out I'll trade up but I have to give my thanks to Jeff @ Eurobahn - I have nothing but great things to say about the service! Peace, Dean |

not "upgrading" until I see that it is an upgrade. I'll wait to see trap speeds. as of now it looks like most of the piggybacks trap pretty close. if procede v2 traps around 111-112 I'll be all over it...
