Custom Exhaust

guys

getting my car in for a custom exhaust @ MIJ Performance

my car is a 325D at the moment but i am getting the 335 exits done

just wanted some opinions on the tips! see what you guys think

original tips on a 335 are 3" and look tiny compared to the cutouts on the diffuser

there are a various array of different sizes tips so just unsure what size to go for,

so 3 questions for you guys

- what size tips you reckon would look good
- what colour tips? chrome, matt black, burnt blue
- shall i have the exhausts petruding from the diffuser? if so then by how much?

i have an idea of what i want done, but always good to see what peoples opinions are!

100% go for a 4" tip, off the car they look too big but when on the car they sit perfect in the diffuser. Colour wise its personal opinion. I would have the tips pertruding by a few mm especially if they are slashed. They will look lost if they are not perftruding abit.

This will transform the rear of your car

Def 4" tips with chrome finish if you actually want to see them.

Don't have them protrude much. Just a little further out than the diffuser.

I can't wait to see how they turn out. Where are you getting your rear diffuser from?

4" chrome, protruding a tiny bit and slashed at the exact same angle as the diffuser if possible. That'd be my choice anyway

What type of diffuser have you gone for? A standard 335 one or the performance diffuser?

4" look spot on once on the car. Mine are staight (not angled like the diffuser), and prob protrude by about 10mm at the top.

Edit: some pics.
