lowered car on springs steering wheel off center
I just lowered my e92 on some springs and now my steering wheel is completely off by probably 35degrees and now traction control is being completely shut off, I've experienced this in the e60 m5 but that was due to a steering angle sensor; Which I expect is the same problem now in the e92 since the steering wheel is completely off while driving straight. Anyone have such issue before and will a alignment fix this?
(I need a alignment anyways since I lowered the car) |

Check to make sure all your wheel speed sensors are in proper working order. I'd disconnect them at both sides and clean them if they look dirty, then reinstall them. They may have gotten pulled loose during your install.
When you take your car in for an alignment make sure they actually center the steering wheel before doing it. When I got my last alignment they just adjusted the tie rods in order to center the wheels themselves, so my steering wheel is a little off too but it doesn't bother me anymore.
