Does jb4 map 3 need to adjust adaptations everytime?

Based on what I understand everytime that you switch off from map 5 the adaptations are reset so once you go back to map 5 they must be set again.

Is this how it works for map 3 (meth) as well? If it does I won't switch off the meth map ever then.

Only map 5 is auto learning. Map 3 does not learn/adapt.

I was under the understanding that ANY map needed adaption when you switched (maps) or upgraded the firmware.

Ignition may require some adaptation. If you have sufficient methanol on 3 it shouldnt require that much correction though, if any.
