Top up oil for 2007 330 diesel

Good morning, I'm I correct in thinking that BMW use Castrol Edge Fully Synthetic 0w30 Engine Oil in a 2007 330 diesel? I could do with a litre for topping up & obviously would like to put the same stuff in as the dealers use, I have also noticed castrol now do a turbo diesel oil as well.

I use 5w30 in my 330d, that's what had always been put in it according to the service receipts that came with the car.

5w30 from Shell is what they use I believe...

I put 8lts of 0w30 Castrol Edge in last service.

Have been told BMW tend to use 5w30 which is slightly cheaper to buy. Not sure on the manufacture.

Sytner have been using castrol edge 5w 30 in mine

Also what Part Limited said to use as well, went to them purely to see what they said and it was the same. Peace of mind that's all.
