Official Bimmerpost photo contest no.70

Post an image with RED as the theme. Doesn't matter about the amount of RED but as long as it's the subject.

SUBMISSION WILL CLOSE ON SUNDAY 31/03/13
RULES:

1. Any interpretation of the theme that falls within Bimmerpost.com rules is welcome.
2. You must be the person that took the photo. Previous photos are acceptable as long as you are the one that captured the image.
3. One submission per contest, and you cannot resubmit a photo that you've submitted before in a previous contest.
4. Images must be no larger than 1024 px in any direction. Links to larger images are allowed but you must have one that is under 1024 px for the poll.
5. All contestants must host their own pictures (which includes hosting them on Bimmerpost).
6. All images must have a title.
7. While post processing in Photoshop is allowed, adding or removing parts of the picture is not. In the event a photo is suspected to be "photo-chopped," the contestant will be asked to provide the original picture.

Ready for this years show?
Move your F stop up a couple to get the prop blur on those slow planes. I think a bunch of the military shows will get cancelled this year.

Those were shot at 1/1250. Much too fast for prop blur, I've learned. Guess I need to be down around 1/250. That'll take some panning practice. Don't think the 400 5.6 will do very well at those speeds.

Those planes move slow, so you can use your tripod. PIA but workable, if you have a pan tilt it will help.

I do have a gimbal head, so that may work. I'll still need to have my hand on the camera, so still room for camera shake.
