Anyone ever use RAVENOL ATF 6HP Fluid ??

Just curious to know if anyone ever heard of this ATF ?

All recommendations everywhere are to use BMW fluid, and nothing else.

Yes, I have used Ravenol 6HP fluid. I changed out the oem fill at 60K miles and refilled with Ravenol, changed again at 62K miles using Ravenol and have used 9 Lts in total.

I'm very happy with the results, I have 66K on the car now and the transmission is much more responsive and shifts faster with the Ravenol. The factory fill fluid looked fine when I drained it and I wasn't expecting to notice any improvement.

I plan to drop the fluid again at 70k or thereabouts to remove more of the OE fill, if there are any significant events before then I will post them.

So far I am finding the Ravenol fluid very satisfactory.
