Has anyone ordered tips off of there website recently at all? Just curious since I ordered last week and still haven't received an email or a response to my emails. Want to make sure they are still in business.

Did they ever send a confirmation email or anything? I have received no emails no replies to phone calls. Thought that since they are made in the US it would have better service and communication. Think I should've went with cyba.

I ordered mine for Cyba. Instant communication, product was at my house in a week.

The mechanism through which welding occurs is called coalescence. In other words, it is the joining together of 2 different substances and making them as one.

BMW NA has carefully chosen materials for your authorized exhaust system. This process involves choosing suppliers which meet stringent mechanical property requirements. These properties are not only for strength, but purity as well. It is well known in the industry that impurities, either introduced during the weld, or existing in the material, are cause for propagation of a corrosion cell, which will eventually cause failure of the material.

BMW NA cannot control outside vendor material properties, and if not done at an authorized dealership, BMW NA cannot control the welding process to ensure that proper cleanliness procedures as well as preheat/interpass temperatures are adhered to.

As such, if this unauthorized procedure is to take place, BMW NA can no longer be held liable for the warranty on your vehicle.

Additionally, if engine damage were to occur, BMW NA would need to do an inspection and analysis of the unauthorized modifications to determine if they caused or contributed to increased engine stress leading to component failure.

The BMW Performance Exhaust is manufactured according to our specifications, material requirements, processes, and designed with the N54 operating parameters in mind. Thus it does not void your warranty, and is infact encouraged.

If you are a representative from BMW NA, I am shocked by your statement. In fact I would go so far as to say you do not know what you are talking about. It is against the law for BMW for void a warranty on an entire vehicle over such a modification.

I would like your name and direct extension, because I am going to reach out to my contact at BMW NA to substantiate who you are and report your involvement here.

I saw him pop up in a couple other threads. If it is a joke, he's putting in good effort.

If it's real...I find it hard to believe why someone would question why people would be interested in $100 tips that actually improve appearance over a $2000 exhaust.
