Removing Paint on car

I ran over a spray can in the lane way at the back of my house and the can sprayed all over the rear side. Some on my black wheels as well, in a silver colour on sapphire black car. Little shits in the lane left it after graffitti all over the fences.

I have tried soap and water but no way.

Hi

That is really bad news - sorry to hear that it happened.

Best bet is to try a clay bar as soon as possible as that should get most of it off. Finish off with a polish like Meguiars ultra cut compound then wax.

Hope this works for you....

Try isopropyl alcohol!! This should work. If dont have one know maybe try using Nail polisher remover. Hope this helps.

Clay bar should get it straight off! BUT if you've never used one before - be sure to lube it up! Quick detailer will do the trick if you're only spot cleaning..

Good luck & hope it comes straight off!

On one part of the car its on so thick that I have decided to call a car detailer. He is coming over tomorrow to assess the car. In the meantime I rang my insurance company, in case I need a repaint.

Thank you for all the suggestions.

Damn dude this sucks!

I doubt you will need a repaint, the detailer should be able to wetsand and remove it as bmw's have a shitload of clearcoat.

Well, great news, the detailer got all the paint off, including from my black wheels.

I don't know if I am allowed to give him a plug, but Daniel Tran from Theultimatedetailer did a fantastic job.
