Has anyone taken a tail pipe/silencer apart to take the guts out, any tips advice or problems, hoping for a better sound and releasing a bit of power! iIf its a bad idea let me know. I have a spare pipe to happy to experiment.

Unless you're really good at breaking open seam welds and re-welding, I wouldn't bother. Best to buy one of the so-called 'muffler delete' pipe set-ups.
