*Finally...A Decent Time At The Strip!*
I went to Irwindale tonight to do a couple runs with my new downpipes, and even though there wasn't an increase in power on the dyno, there's obviously a difference in drivability.
I'm pretty happy with my times. I had 91 Octane in the tank. I have the following: Manual 6 speed Street Tires (General UHP) PROcede v1.47 UR high flow cat downpipes No secondary cats with the stock resonator Magnaflow rear mufflers I'm really stoked on the 8.2 at 86 MPH. ![]() Not a bad 60 foot for street tires too. ![]()

The best 1/4 mile is in Bakersfield, which is 3 hours away. ![]() The 1/8th is pretty good to practice the launches. ![]()

That second run is pretty fast. Your trap speed is really good for the 1/8th mile. MaxBoost (12.56@108.75) had ran 8.01@85.97 in the 1/8th mile...
Of course, his 60' time was 1.692 on that 12.56@108.75, and that's just brutally fast...

Wasn't me. Another user here called MaxBoost. Don't know if they were street or drag tires, auto or 6mt. There wasn't any wheelspin on the launch, so I have a feeling it was auto.

![]() Yah, he was on drag radials. You can pretty much tell by that 60 foot too. 1.69 is a damn quick 60 foot even for drag radials.

GREAT time man, congrats! That 60' on the second slip is really impressive. I assume from your tire description you've ditched the runflats??
I'm surprised you didn't dyno any more power with the DP's considering all the manufacturers threads around here claiming 20+ horsepower and what not. |

I am going to moroso tonight. I have been putting it off for quite some time now. It is going to be warm but my car is running real strong. Moroso is not the best maintained track but we are gonna see how it goes. It's 1/4 of a mile so I hope to get atleast 3 runs in. Gonna bring a camera and what not should be posting some vids and slips tonight or tomorrow. There are a couple of guys down here that want to wait until winter when it is cool. I just can't wait. What is the best record right now on street tires? 12.56 @ 108 right?
