Our E90 has been fully transformed to M-Sport model with more extras :)
Hello
The DIY thread took me a few hours uffff, it is done so I am happy I could help any of you who will attempt it. I never could find any good DIY. Here it is : http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=823935 Here are the photos. I have found some detailing products at home I never knew about lol Products (I have used Autosol paste for the stainless steel exhaust http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Autosol-So...item3a7fcee021) : The car was washed first, then rinsed and dried. Pre-glaze applied : Result after pre-glaze : Glaze applied : Result after glaze : Then some waxing : Before applying Autosol to the exhaust : After applying Autosol to the exhaust : Overall result : I hope you like it The middle bumper piece was colour coded and the diffuser Black Sapphire painted to match spoiler, mirrors etc etc Best Regards !

Thanks mate We have done so many things on the car but its rewarding so well worth it. Weve had the E90 for almost 3 years now and done almost 40k miles with not even smallest problem Yes there are a few plans left to do :
- front bumper splitters in Black Sapphire (not a fan of carbon) - Performance side skirts with vents in Black Sapphire - 35% tinted windows all round - LCI headlights with white LED markers - Bilstein B12 - Performance BBK or 335 setup + red stuff pads - Logic 7 subs - Goodride stainless steel brake lines - maybe M3 mirrors in Black Sapphire Thats it Quote:
Cheers pal Yeah, its great and cheap stuff If you polish the exhaust a few round the result will be even better. It gets rid of everything easily and gets rid of any marks or scratches. Happy you found it useful Thanks bud !

Looks great, job well done.
Is it a perf. exhaust you have because I want those tips, they look great? If they are replacement slip-ons then please let me know where they're from. Cheers |

Looking good mate, I have silver car and was thinking of doing black spoiler, diffuser, kidney grills and black roof, how does it look in the flesh? Not sure about black or carbon.

Thanks pal Well the carbon is not black, its kind of grey ish so has not such contrast as Black Sapphire. In my opinion Black Sapphire looks better as it has better contrast with silver car I was thinking to spraying the roof in Black Sapphire but resigned last year. It would look great I think but first you need to tint your windows. The other thing which killed the idea is when it comes to selling the car I think noone would buy it with black roof lol and respraying would cost around £100 so alltogether £200 just to having black roof :P If the money is no matter and hassle then yeah do it, will look fantastic

[QUOTE=Matrez;13763460]Thanks a lot mate The exhaust is from BCS and its a full back box, stainless steel. It cost £225 fitted at their garage in St Helens.
How does the exhaust sound compared to the stock exhaust? |

Wow that sounds bloody good for a 2ltr diesel!!! That would sound amazing on a 3ltr petrol and a hell of a lot cheaper than the BMW performance exhaust that also sounds sweeeeet.
