USB jack for MP3 needed.

I have a 2007 335i Sedan with iDrive.
Built date: Sept 2006.
In my arm rest glove box, I only have a Stereo jack for input.

Is it possible to get a USB jack going?

Just want to stick in a USB stick to play my MP3s.

Just buy the retrofit kit and get it installed and coded. Part number of the kit:65410427467

Look it up on the BMW Website.
I meant your local dealer or the Tischer online.
I don't know the cost of the retrofit but I think from BMW its
around 1k or more.
You might want to consider a Dension gateway 500s BT or one of the older
gateway product which are cheaper or a mobridge either of which would
give you more functions than a BMW retrofit and probably at a much cheaper price.

from my research the pre 03/07 cars cant retrofit usb due to the bus system used. all you can do is the ipod in the glovebox retrofit. but if you figure it out let me know as I am interested in a usb connection as well.

The aftermarket units mentioned above will work.
The connect directly to the optical most bus and emulate the
BMW cd changer sort of.
And it doesn't matter if its Pro Radio or idrive they will work with
both.
