Stainless Steel Vs. Chrome Lips on Wheels?
Im getting some new rims for my car but theres 2 things I need to ask you guys, I found some deep dish rims that I like, In the picture it shows a machined lip, but the salesman said that "he can get in stainless steel lip" and that its exactly like a chrome lip, shiny and all..He said that its the same lip on the Vossen 078 wheels, which when I saw it in person has a great chrome finish......... Is this acurrate..
And last he wants to give me 265 rear tires and 235 front tires, he says that 275's might rub I have a 325I 2006, 35+ offset Thanks in advance |

235/265 is good choice. If you go with the 275 I'd recommend a 245 up front, to keep the overall balance the same.
The machined lip will not be as shiny as the stainless steel lip, so if a "chrome" lip is what you are after, go with the stainless.
