Look at the oil filter housing itself at the top of the motor. You should see two obvious oil lines coming from that housing going towards your passenger side wheelwell

Bump, Any info how much it lowers the normal operating temp. Alos, how much oil does it add to a oil change? Can you change the oil in it also?

I bought a non-sport 2011 335i e90 and had the stage 2 ppk installed, which necessitated the installation of the oil cooler as well.
There is no difference in normal operating temperature(240-245), but it definitely keeps the temps down during extended, harder driving. The temps used to push 265-270, now they never go above 255. (I have not tracked the car, so extended, harder driving is "sporty driving on back roads within reason and always being mindful of other drivers and police").
