BMW NA Warranty Department

This guy just started posting stupid stuff... like adding exhaust tips will void your warranty. Anyone know if he is for real? He can't possibly represent BMW can he?

Tips would not void warranty. At the end of the day, its up to the individual dealer's discretion. I would love to see the dealer deny a warranty claim on a faulty CAT because the exhaust tip was different, provided the was no banana sticking out of the tail pipe!

He has provided me with his name - supposedly. I will be reaching out to BMW NA to see if A. He is who he claims to be B. To see if his actions are condoned by BMW NA or if he's just a bored emplyee who thought he would start flexing his virtual muscles by harassing owners and C. If his involvement here is sanctioned,to report the mis-information he is spreading and the harrassing nature of his posts.

Quite harsh. His reasoning is correct in all of his posts. I'm sure he is actually from BMW NA... why all the crying?! You all mod your cars..don't expect to keep your warranty!
