Powerflow tailpipes fitting or other options?
Im looking to get some new exhaust tips welded on to my standard 325d backbox. I just want to get rid of the dull silver and get some standard looking chrome tips. Does anyone know roughly howmuch it would cost to get a couple of powerflow tips welded on, including the price of the tips? Ive seen they have some decent chrome tips that are angled and seem to match the OEM look well.
Otherwise is there a better way of going about this any cheaper? ive seen some slide on covers that BMW apparently sell but cant find a part number as there seems to be so many. I just have whatever exhaust comes on an M Sport 325d, seems to be dual exit on one side with brushed tips, what covers would i need for them? Thanks for your help |

Think when I looked into this for a previous car it was £60 total. (That does depend on the franchise though) Didn't get the tips welded in the end, as I ended up getting a custom exhaust instead.

I paid less than £80 from a Topgear in Hayes and that included getting a custom pipe made up out of the backbox. The tips were less than £40 to buy.
It's a great option. My car was completely transformed by the work

Just rip the lot out (exhaust),it doesn't really do much apart from hang there like a spare cock at a wedding. The DPF does most of the work, go with a straight through system, better sound, more BHP (15-18). No brainer really, just let us know when it's done, post some pics and a sound clip,it's arguably the best £300 odd quid you'll spend. OK? http://www.cksperformance.com/

but its a diesel, not going to get a nice throaty exhaust note out of that, it would just sound odd i think?! Plus i dont want to stray too much from oem, i just want to tidy up the tips a bit

I'd do a search on the forum for those who've gone straight thru, the only thing that's odd is the sound,it's better (arguably)
