Another JB4 Question- Code clearing

I know there are many threads about this, but this is just for peace of mind.

Im taking my vehicle in to get some warranty suspension work done/new tires and am going to remove my JB4. I plan to just clear them from my steering wheel. Is this all i have to do?

1) turn off car
2) set to map 0
3) clear all clodes
4) remove key and remove JB4
