I feel that for 20s to look good on the e9x, you relly need to lower your car

I have a stock 335i with sport package and just put on 20 inch rims and tires and have had no trouble with rubbing and they JUST fit inside the wheel wells. They handle and ride much better than the run flats, now if i can get them to tweek the balance I will be happy as hell with the set up.The actual sizes are as follows:

20x10 Beyern medium offset rear
20x8.5 " " " front
225/35zr-20 90w
255/30r-20 92w Proxes

Yea you can run that set up ... just need to roll your fenders in the rear ...That is the same set up Lontran's SSRs are in the rear.

EDIT: Oh if your talking on a E92 ... you might be pushing it a bit .... E90 you should be mellow

What exactly is "medium" offset?

The front offset seems extremely high....Not sure if it will clear the brakes.

The rear is gonna have issues im almost sure. And 20" not lowered will look kinda 4x4'ish

I had 20x8.5 +32et and it sticks out about 1/2" 20x10 +27et on the rear and rubs still with slight fender work and about 2 finger gap. This is also on a Falken FK452 245/30/20 285/25/20

My front tires rubbed on the inside fender well once as i went over some RR trax I had forgotten were there,(not active trax, dont drive that road much) other than that no rubbing that I am aware of. Saturday when I take it back in for the balance issues I will have a closer look. I test drove it the first day and got a vibration at 55-60 and a major shudder at around 90,front right was 3/4 ounce out of balance.Shudder is gone but still a slight vibration at 55-60,feel it more in the tires than in the steering wheel. I had the same issues with my TSX and it took several visits and new hub rings to solve it. I will post a picture or two when I have more time and patience!!

thanks guys for all the information. I decided that im not going to do that setup, i just bought springs from longtran and lowering the car will certainly create rubbing issues....so longtran is running 20 inch SSRs/Works?
