Question about License Renewal in CA...

I'm trying to renew my license online or by mail, and one of the requirements to do so is to not have been "convicted of a moving violation"...I suppose that's receiving something like a speeding ticket correct? It's just that it sounds so much worst that way that I'm having second thoughts... If so, I'm gonna have to go stand in line...damn it!!

well if you have time just do the on-line app anyway...who knows it might be overlooked...

If you do have to go in... make the appointment on line. No need to stand in line.

Did you goto traffic school for your moving violation? I average a ticket just about every 18 months and have done the trafficschool.com online test and have not had to retake the test.

If you have AAA, do it there, much better service and usually much shorter lines.

Mine said that as well, I had no moving violations to worry about. But I went in since my picture was at least 12 years old, and my hair color has changed from brown to bald. . .

Didn't know you could do license renewals at AAA, because if you do have to take a test, they don't proctor tests or grade tests there.

I've only been able to renew my registration. If they do license renewals, I'm there!
