Question about Toyo R888

I'm running on Advan Rs-D 19" with Toyo R888. 235/35/19 front and 265/35/19 rear on my 08' 335xi coupe. My tires make a very noise when I'm driving it. Like a low "hmmmmmm" sounds lol just wanna know that anyone that's running on Toyo R888 have this same sound like me or not.
Thanks guy!!

Comments like this are not unusual for the 888

"Also these tires at some speed produce sound like you need new wheel bearings... I wouldn't recommend this tire for a daily drive car..."

You might want to do a search on them. Also might not be a good plan in a place with a lot of rain.

I bought a set of used wheels with these tires on them. I only drove them for about 100 miles before I changed them out. The hummmmm that you talk about is accurate and gave me a headache after driving for 5 mins. These are a semi-slick tires that they say can be street driven but I completely disagree. I would say these are track tires that can bring you to and from the track but not for daily driving.

The sounds appear to be gone when I go over 40 mph. I'm fine with everything about the tires sounds. Just want to make sure that its not a big problem.
I also live in Seattle where it rains a lot!! It is fine in light rain but when it rains really hard. I don't drive or just drive really slow thx for the information!

To me, I think it's a great tires. The grip from it is amazing(when the roads r dry lol) but it actually scared the crap out of me on the first day I got it. I went right over to the shop I usually go to and have the mechanic guy sit in my car and blah blah blah lol he said its just a sound from tires but I just wanna make sure it seem louder since I went put more air into it yesterday.
Thank for the information again

I usually take my chances with the weather and run summer performance tires all year... Way less sound and smoother with less "tracking" lately been doing the V12's and been very happy! Staggered setup with 285/30/19 and 245/35/19... Not 100% on profile. Yes, loud tires are annoying!!!

You are correct the sound is speed specific. Saw where you lived that's why I put that in...its more a standing water issue because they will hydro-plane easily.

I run normal summers all year Conti DW in 245X35X19 - 265X30X19. A semi track tire will always give you better dry traction but can be marginal in other conditions.

My v12s were shit in wet weather, any speed over 60 and they would dance around like crazy.

They're R-Comps designed for racing surfaces. And you're surprised they're not as quiet or comfortable as street tires?

I have yet to drive on a set of R-Comps that doesn't make that humming noise. Well, except for Falken Azenis RT-615Ks, but I don't really consider them true R-Comps.
