What is telemetrics/online services????

Hi

I have looked at the list of features on my car using those websites where you plug in your VIN #. One entry has come up referring to provisional assignment for telemetrics/online services:

S8SXA PROVIDERZUORDNUNG F.TELEM.ONLINE-D. Prov.assignm.for Telematic/Online serv.

Does anyone know what this means or is it just a fancy way of saying I have professional satnav installed?

I have a 2010 E90 325i…

It is a fancy service that BMW provides you by paying an annual fee.. Also I believe telemetrices / online service installs a SOS button where the front reading lights / sunroof buttons are located.
