A colleague of mine had his done (did a group deal with my 335). He's really impressed and no issues whatsoever. I'm sure he'd recommend it.

Did my 2006 320d back in december and gotta say its the best thing i've ever done to the car, It just drives a whole lot different a lot smoother through the revs and the power seems to be there when ever you need it.

Please use the forum search this has been covered at least 100 times.
It will be faster with neglible mpg impact but could put extra load on the quite poor 2006 mitsubishi turbo - and in short you might end up needing a new one (But most people don't of course). 40 horsepower extra as a minimum certainly makes the car more fun though.

Definitely worth doing, had mine done earlier this year and the car is so much quicker and nicer to drive. Give Simon from Emaps a call! As for mpg I'm about on average 1mpg worse off but I'm sure if I could control myself then things could improve ;o)

Only he mentioned the true answer. Worth it or not, its your call OP considering the risks and benefits. If you are going for one, its worth of trying alpina software on your car. Again search the forums as few members are running alpina's software on 320D (Pre-LCI) without any issues.

Had mine done by evolve and it is well worth it, better mpg as well which was an unexpected bonus. Don't know what turbo is my 07 but I've done 150k total now and all is well. I looked at the alpina software but there seem to be levels of complexity there if you don't have a DPF.
Evolve do a switch so you can go back to stock when you need to. Demig |

Of course it's been covered - you can't be searching for the right thing.
The answer is yes they have and yes it will put load on the gear box. You might get clutch slip in 4th - and if you've got higher mileage I wouldn't recommend it due to the costs of a new auto box. Of course if you don't care about that: Then it's a brilliant performance mod and will put a real smile on your face. At least the 177 is basically bullet proof turbo wise, so no issues there.
