335i santa pod today.
went to try the 1/4 mile in my 335i today and was pleasantly surprised, i was hoping it would pull 100 mph top speed and it did 104 mph on one run.
I don't know if that's good or bad as 335's go but there was a new focus rs running and he pulled 100 mph dead every run, so i was happy to be in front of him. I didn't really try to make a quick time, didn't want to abuse my car too much off the line!.....Im well aware bmw's aren't the cheapest cars to fix. Had a great day though, any of you ever been or does the forum have meets at santa pod ? any thoughts on my cars performance, is that top speed healthy for a standard car. Cheers D edit, car is on standard run flats and 19 inch rims if that matters, lol. |

yes bog standard, i remember an e46 m3 cabriolet repeatedly running 101 mph and his best time was 13.9 using launch control, i had heard the 335i was similar straight line performance to an e46 m3 and so i guess its true!.
