It's not going well. I am waiting on a second cable to get here, and than I am going to try one last thing to get it to work. If that doesn't work I am probably going to have someone do it for me.
As a side note, if anyone has successfully coded out the bulb checks in the low and high beams, please PM me. |

I think that someone was wrong. If you had two black dots I think that the problem was only with configuration/installation. Probably you will have this same problem with new cable as before. How much did you pay for these cables?

Here's the thing: When I attempted to code the digital display in CAS, everything worked fine. No errors, etc. I didn't actually code the digital diplay on, but I went through all of the steps. Then when I tried to code the FRM it didn't work. I still want to get the new cable and try the method you posted in the other thread just in case I did a step wrong. |

I've had the black dots in INPA before with a bad cable. I know it was the cable because when I plugged my other cable in it worked just fine. There are tricks to getting the black dots to show up without actually communicating with the car.
