335i JB4 G5, DCI and E40, acting a little funky

Installed the JB4 stage 3 G5 and DCI on my '09 335i yesterday, set it to Map 5 and threw some E40 into the mix...... COMPLETELY different car.

My car seems to be acting funny at times though. I had half a tank of 93 in the car when I initially installed everything, did a couple pulls and the car felt like it'd bog for a second inbetween hard shifts. I shrugged it off and assumed it was the car still adapting. Roughly 100 miles later, got gas and threw some E40 into the mix. Car felt even quicker, but the car would also throw a CEL and go into limp mode every so often. Car still felt like it'd bog inbetween hard shifts, but not always, about half the time.

Sometimes the car goes like a raped ape, other times it feels sluggish and once in a while it'll throw a CEL and go into limp mode. Shut the car off, restart and all is well again. Assuming the codes are being automatically deleted when I restart the car? Is the E40 possibly the issue? Should I be running a different map? Am I mentally challenged?

All comments and opinions are welcome, thanks in advance.

Do you know how to turn off auto clear? The only answer I've gotten so far is when the car throws a code, change it to Map 0 and keep it that way til you get into service.
