males choosing to be gay?
i went to university, i studied psych. i understand that it's possible to be born with a chemical imbalance in your brain so that you are attracted to the same sex. i'm cool with people doing whatever they wanna do with their lives.
but. . . . . . . . how is it possible to "choose" to be gay? how can a man with a pecker prefer to give head rather than receive it? how can someone choose hairy nipples over volumptuous boobies? how can you choose a man's face over a woman's perfect face? a man's ass over a hottie in bootie shorts? have gay men seen playboy or victoria's secret magazines? me understand. . . . . if a guy really likes to take it up the pooper, why not strap a dildo on your wife and let her do it? women are good at pleasing their man. they'll do all kinds of shit to make you happy. there's no need to turn gay. but hey, i really don't mind gay people. the way i see it, it's one less mofo I gotta comptete against. |

If you want to come out of the Closet to folks here at e90post I am certain you'll receive a decent response. Seems to be a pretty open minded group.
It's OK to be gay man, no need to keep it all bottled up. Seems you've been spending a lot of time thinking about being with a man, so go for it... More Women for me...

NoKids, you haven't got a clue. I'm not sure which school you went to but it's not a chemical imbalance.
Simply said: Lesbians feel the same way about women as you do. Gay men feel the same way about men as your (supposed) girlfriend does Bisexuals have these feelings for either or both sex. You did not make a choice to be heterosexual, people do not choose to be homosexual. They do not become homosexual, they just are. This is entirely down to how your brain is wired as a result of hormone levels in the womb. There is an evolutionary advantage (Darwin) to having gay or lesbian individuals in your family and homosexuality is common in most mammal species. You do not change your sexual orientation. |

I will likely get flamed for this, but here it goes:
The current "advanced" liberal view is that being gay is totally normal because people are who they are. While the latter is undeniably true, the former depends on what is being defined as normal. If ANYTHING that occurs in nature is normal, then, of course, yes. But, under the same definition, siamese twins are normal, people born with missing organs are normal, etc. The evolution of mammals (and humans) resulted in two genders for a reason and the instinctive mutual attraction of the opposite sexes is natural, logical, and based on the necessity to procreate. Don't get me wrong. I think that the society should fully accept gay people and treat them for the social purposes in the same way as heterosexuals. But, in my view, homosexualism is still an abnormality. Now, get out your flame guns! |

I don't see much to flame, other than comparing Homosexuality to a Birth defect... But seriously, who gives a shit? I find that folks who bring this stuff up are either trying to advance their own little hate and fear filled agenda, or are truly repressed and are wishing to be OK with themselves. I find the whole "Gay Marriage" thing comical, who gives a shit? Just some sick and twisted religious types thinking that their fairy tales provide some real answers... However, I think a great deal of problems the gay community has are self inflicted. Hetero's don't run around making their sexuality an issue, but my god, a large portion of the gay community thinks it's all that matters... It's comical. A little secret... Nobody knows you're gay, until you start shouting about it... Makes no sense, it seems to just be another way for a group of people to line up and work real hard to be "victims"...

I fully agree with your view, Revlis, and I am not trying "to advance my little hate," which I don't have. In fact, I know a few gay guys and gals who are very decent people and deserve a lot of respect.
At the same time, I don't like when someone starts preaching that being a gay is totally normal and cool, especially in front of kids who are just starting to explore their sexuality. |
