Faulty iDrive Screen
Hi guys, my Prof. iDrive unit in my 2007 e92 has been acting up and as of couple days ago, it has gone blank.....Everything works in the car/Bluetooth/Cd's/Radio, But couple days before it went out it wouldn't recognize the Navigation disc anymore, it will start making griding sounds whenever I tried to insert the disc that has been in there since I bought the car new.
Furthermore, when I plug my Bav Tool and go in "activations" under the Central unit menu and click ACTIVATE, it will Turn ON very Dim and stay ON Only for 5 Seconds before it goes out again, I Also got a bunch of codes that I can't find any Info on. Please see the Video below and pass on your thoughts, Screen? Nav Computer? Thx in advance.

Does the CCC unit continue to make the noise once the DVD is removed ?
What are the fualts stored in the CCC & CID Module ? Did you try to reset the CCC ? |

Disconnect the battery and let the car sit for a few hours (I'd say two atleast)...If you want, Send me the codes for the CID and I'll create a test plan at work tomorrow with ISTA and screenshot the results
