Turbo Lag

I have the HPF Gen 2 installed with stock downpipes + a BMS Drop in at the moment.. I feel like there is a little more turbo lag and the throttle doesnt seem as responsive, wondering if when I upgrade the downpipes and add a tune if that should solve the lag or if anyone has any other suggestions

both tune an downpipes will make turbo spool a bit faster.

but the tune will really help. you should tune your car first then put catless downpipes.

tunes such as jb4 have lag-fix which really eliminates turbo lag.

Turbo lag is close to non-existant on stock frame turbos, it's likely a placebo. A tune will likely command more boost earlier in the rev range, so that would indeed solve your problem

You'll enjoy the Cobb, it's tremendous. Nice exhaust too

It's very difficult to notice the lag on these cars unless there's something wrong with the vehicle.

It only started after installing the exhaust, The shop that did the install did a horrible job and it was vibrating like crazy and the sound wasnt pure like it should have been, had another shop fix and adjust it and it was perfect for a few weeks and now the vibrations are back.. I think I might just feel like theres lag because the vibrations feel sort of restrictive if that makes any sense
