LSD swap 08+ steptronic

We have a client with a 135i Steptronic who is looking to sell his car.
i have been asked to sell the diff as a swap over deal, your car would need to be an 08+ 335i steptronic for this to work.
The diff has not done any track days and has not been down the strip and with less than 30,000kms.

yes.

Options
1. New LSD installed for ~$4.5k
2. Find an 07 E92 diff, swap that in and then put an LSD in that for a more reasonable $500-600 install cost
