Why would anyone want this? It's not a console but a cable box in disguise. I own a PS2 and 360 and will not be "upgrading" to this POS Xbox One.

The PS4 already trumps the Xbox in performance since it's more oriented towards TV and sports than actual gaming.

I'll be getting me a PS3 once the PS4 comes out, as I'm sure it'll be discounted pretty well.

I guess this is the first time in history for me that I am not looking forward to the new gen of games. I'll be sticking with my backlog of PS2, Xbox, N64, Gamecube, and 360 games. If anything, I'll be picking up a PS3 next generation to play some of those games I missed out on that are exclusive. Fuck the PS4 and this new Xbox one.

i think the console genre is having the same issue the pc games are: don't need it (meaning software demands aren't keeping up with new hardware releases)

gaming hardware is like tv now... my 1080p is technically outdated but most of the stuff i watch is still broadcasted in 720p

IGN recently had an article saying that the XBOX One will now remove the requirement for internet "check ins" and will support used games, etc...

Anyone else see this?

I was thinking of doing that too...but I got screwed when I tried to do it for wii u lol...I actually did it for the regular wii that's why I figured it would work with the wii u but I was wrong that time.
