Hi,

I'm going to be doing some translation work and I'm looking for common English words patients might use to describe disease... like swelling, itching, shortness of breath, sharp pain, etc.

I found this for example:

I'm looking for more, similar stuff... anybody got any tips?

Prolly doctors/nurses etc would know. I'm not really looking for "guidebooks" that explain how to create medical terms (prefix, suffix, etc), just a list of words and definitions.

whats wrong with a medical dictionary?

If you don't know what the medical terminology is you wont be able to translate it.

you should just read up about it in a medical dictionary and use basic concepts to translate/explain them
