F10 shifter for e90s - pics - has anyone done this?
Has anyone with an e90 attempted this. I see a bunch of guys put these on the 1 series.
The shift and boot come together and require some modification. Anyone with an e90 attempted this? Not too crazy about the boot, ideally would like to pick up maybe a e39 boot and make it fit. *pic below of the boot http://f10.m5post.com/forums/attachm...9&d=1337701452 e39 boot http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/...psdadb3837.jpg More photos here http://f10.m5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=695000 |

It's a direct swap, the M5 knob is simply a ZHP (possibly slightly larger) with a light up shift pattern. It attaches like any other shift knob, and you can reuse your stock boot. For wiring, it's simple, you just wire it into the cigarette lighter. Looks/feels great, a friend did it to his M3.
