Anyone on the forums have a casemachine case? They specialize in limited production high quality cases for the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy based off of cars.

There is a special M3 version

but, since I don't have an M3, I decided to get the Sesto case (based on the Lamborghini Sesto of course). There is also a new case coming out for the R8 and the Ferrari Berlinetta.

Quality is top notch, cases are pretty expensive though. The sesto case I purchased has a slab of REAL carbon fiber on the back, and is quite the looker. Here are some pics:

I'm a big guy on customization, I had a Blackberry, at first, only because of BBM and themes. With my iPhone, I need to change it up with cases. - but I like minimalist cases that don't bulk up the phone.

Casemachine has been perfect. Minimalist cast, with good protection and its definitely a statement with its sharp edges and carbon fiber

I have the Amazon basics one for iphone5 and it has been more durable than any of my past $30-$50 cases. Same goes for $15 Amazon basics lightning cable.

That doesn't look like its worth $150 and I'm not sure how you would get $150 of performance out of a case. But if you can, more to you then.

I usually go caseless, but I've dropped my phone a couple of times and the bezel is a bit scratched.

Also... I didn't get the M3 one, as stated, I bought the Sesto case (those are the pictures). It was $90; still expensive, but not as much as the M3 limited edition.

It's not all about use and functionality. It's a statement of luxury and aesthetics.

It's almost like buying an M3. If you wanted just functionality and performance, you would have bought the mustang 5.0 for half the price. But instead if you buy the BMW you are choosing to send a statement about what you can buy and the life of luxury.

Snobbish, really? I honestly had no ulterior motive, and I still can't see how I would come off as snobbish. I would assume that people spending $30,000 - $100,000+ on a car wouldn't find $90 expensive for a premium phone case, especially if they were into that sort of thing. It's actually quite middle of the road for what is out there for the iPhone and Galaxy; I mean even a basic case from Verizon/AT&T can cost $25-$50 nowadays.

I was trying to promote what I thought was an awesome case for car enthusiasts (that is their target market, and considering they are selling out left and right, I guess they've hit it...)

Sure, if the case thing isn't for you, that's great, but it wasn't my intention to 'show off' that I could afford a $90 case for my phone... I just like dressing up my devices; definitely not where most, or even a noticeable amount, of my money is going... just something I thought I would share with the community.

If someone was into cases, they would buy premium, like someone into cars. You have a BMW because you want the performance with the finesse, luxury and comfort. Just like I don't want just another black rubber case.

And nobody can convince me that a car is not a statement. Henry Ford figured it out and started a revolution. If we really just wanted to get from A - B we would be all driving similar looking vehicles, stripped down, with low horsepower, air condition and a radio....
