He is offering a North American Spec CIC unit, which is very very rare. US spec units made after 2010 have a built in SiriusXM tuner and the 1-6, AM/FM and MODE buttons instead of the Euro Spec 1-8 buttons.

BimmerRetrofit and Bimmer-Tech primarily offer European Spec CIC units which have been converted for use in the US (software reloaded with US spec). BimmerRetrofit offers a full US-spec unit every blue moon because they are so hard to come by.

And most likely the unit also has HD Radio. The resellers want an additonal $400-500.00, if you request HD radio be included in the purchase of a system.

Yes, I have the euro CIC and was quoted 500-700 extra for a US spec unit with HD Radio, so price is decent and these are a bit hard to come by!
