LeatherZ

I just had the most fortunate experience to meet Andy Maddux this evening from LeatherZ. Turns out he lives about a mile from me.

You really gotta appreciate a guy like this that takes such concern about his customers, and how is products are doing in the field. They have a donught spare for the 335, and while it's been tested for him by others with good results, he wanted to see the fitment for himself. We tested with various spacing, both on front and back wheels. Works great! When I go to non-runflats in the spring, I'll be picking one up for the long trips.

+100 for LeatherZ and Andy. Hooked me up with a great deal on a shift knob and a wheel change alignment pin for my "troubles".

What neighborhood of Cincy?

I would definitely be interested in the Space Saver if I decide to ditch the RFT's

Hi there, I find that the E90s have relatively little storage space, eg take the glove compartment where you cannot even fit the manual. I was looking at the LeatherZ site and they have the First Aid Storage Box which could add storage space. The product is http://leatherz.com/Merchant2/mercha..._Code=Interior

The site makes it very clear that it is for Z4, X5/X3 and E46 3er. Has anyone used this in an E90? Will it fit? Are there other such products for the E90s? Thanks!

Same brakes, should fit. That's the issue with fitment.

His website is down because his host is migrating his site and they are taking WAY longer than they told him. Check back tomorrow, it should be back up.

Andy came over today, it doesn't fit. The mounting bracket is blocked by another item under the seat. I have an e90, non-sport. He's thinking of moding the bracket to see if it will fit. Didn't have time today, I wanted to watch the Colts/pats.

Like Xray said, he told us his site is being migrated to a new server. Should be up soon.

How old is the geezer from Cleveland?

J/K about the geezer thing.

The little first aid holder thingy looked cool, I just hope he can get it to fit.

40, that's old enough to be before the expression "the shit".

On the original topic, LeatherZ is down again. I browsed a little yesterday; interesting stuff. I might order the wheel pin.

Wheel pin makes changing our wheels soooo much easier.
