Tint and light diffusion
I notice during night driving that light hitting the rear window is creating a narrow verticle band of light across all defrost lines from top to bottom, is this normal?
When I called the tint shop, they said this is because of the angle of the rear window, and there is nothing they can do. My car is an e90. 50% on all side windows and 35% at the rear window. The films are metallic Suntek HP. Just wonder if this is normal in all tinted car or some specific problems with the tint installation or the film itself. |

Yep, I have the same issue too and it bothers me a bit. I ponied up for the ultra expensive ceramic F1 pinnacle tint at 35% too. I haven't inquired at the tint shop yet. Anyone else have a lot of distortion?
