taking lease car from canada to the usa on vacatio?
I want to take an extended holiday in California for say 5 months and 28 days.
Questions: Does a bmwfs lease allow this I imagine I'd have to get a different insurance for the vehicle. Any input?

I believe as long as the car is still registered in Canada you are OK. Many Canadian snowbirds bring their cars down south half-a-year at a time. May be you should give BMWFS a courtesy call to be sure. You don't have to tell them who you are unless it is necessary.
You definitely should notify your insurance company. Extended holiday.....That sounds nice!!!!!

should be fine. as long as your permanent address stays in canada, itll be ok. just check to see if they will cover any warranty/service charges while you are down there
