Independent Shop in Philadelphia Area

Does anybody have any comments on Bimmerworks in West Chester versus Bavarian Specialties in King of Prussia? I plan on using them for tech inspections as well as for some suspension modifications for track use. Any comments on prior experience would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
Todd

I would like to know the same? Does bimmerworks strictly only handle Bimmers? If that is the case I will be interested.

Well I know both places, bimmerworks and bav. specialties focus on bmw. Bav specialties had a couple of porsches there as well. I imagine bimmerworks doesn't get much porsche business due to Dougherty automotove (high end porsche shop) being right across the street.

I might have to get my KWv2 coilovers installed at Bav. then... because it is closer. This is great news... I didn't want to take my car to an aftermarket shop called Good Vibrations because they messed up on my G35 once.

BIMMERWORKS IS THE BEST.

I used Bimmerworks for EVERYTHING on my E36 M3 and Steve always did a top notch job. Recently had my 335 there for a check-up/oil change. He has done work on our 996TT as well, and he will be doing emissions/inspection on our 550 Maranello soon. He is trustworthy, down to earth, helpful, useful-- exceptional. I literally cannot say enough good things about the place.

Steve is also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to track set-ups and tech inspection as he is an avid track junkie (in fact, he out west competing now).

In short, take your car there. You won't regret it. He also has some receptionist talent (considering most...)
