Non-BMW Roadside Assistance
So, if I get a nail in a RFT, I can basically drive to the dealer (is there any sort of road hazard warranty?) or to a local tire shop.
If I switch to non-RFTs, I will buy a compressor and an can of sealant. But, if the tire is non-sealable, I guess it will have to be towed. The BMW roadside assistance might work if you pay the dealership to do the repair, but otherwise I think you'd be responsible for the tow cost. So, to make a long story short, has anyone taken out additional roadside assistance to cover non-RFT breakdowns? Also, I guess it makes extra sense if you have a Procede or JBS2 disablement... tow it back to your house first before towing it off to BMW! |

yes, bmw roadside covers you even with non oem non rft's. towing to anyplace but a bmw dealer withing 80km's is outta your own pocket. you are not obliged to get it fixed there, but whats the point? call in another tow truck to tow you home?
